The mind and hands behind Absynia, Elle is a jewelry and stationery designer who got her start by repurposing cheap broken jewelry. After gaining popularity on her campus for her unique jewelry, she began making jewelry in earnest.
Ally Elle Cards was born from the same innovative spirit that created Absynia.
When Elle was in a long distance relationship, she realized there weren't cards for those allergic to syrupy sweet.
With the growing success of both Ally Elle Cards has become a line carried by and through Absynia

My connection to my heritage and the African diaspora is a heavy influence on my aesthetic. I make it a point to name and share my sources of inspiration, from the homes of the Kassena women of Tiébélé to the seed jewelry of the Samburu and back to the Baule brass of West Africa. That is the difference between appreciation and appropriation.
